Women Cell Organization 2021, of Blooming Buds Bethania was inaugurated by Dr Rashmi C R (Additional Prof,Dept of OBG,Govt. Med college Thrissur) andDr.Priya Panakkal (Jr Consultant ,Taluk Hospital Kunnamkulam) on Sunday, June 6th 2021 at 1.30pm through Google meet.
The live session on ‘Mensural Health and awareness campaign’ was led by Girlup Mitra in collaboration with Swasthya Health Club. The campaign was organized as a part of Menstrual Hygiene day which falls on 28th May2021,which aimed to enable students to break the silence and build knowledge about the fundamental role that good menstrual hygiene plays in allowing women and girls to reach their full potential.
The sessions were headed by a team of medical students ,who were specially trained by Gynecologists interacted with the students and cleared their doubts and queries.
